Crafting Timeless Beauties

I’m so excited to have this opportunity to share just a little about me.

I am the most optimistic optimist, a true believer in Karma, a dream chaser, a wish maker with an Artistic Soul.

To me, creating is freedom; there are no rules, no boundaries. There are only feelings, expressions, colors, and lights. Creating brings me to a peaceful place, a place where my truth can be told, where my spirit can run free, and where my imagination can soar.

I put no limits on the type of art I admire or create. I love my life of diversity, and I am completely in love with anything that glitters.

I began painting as a small child with the help and encouragement of a family friend who was like a grandmother to me. She always encouraged me to paint the way that made my heart happy, “let the colors make you happy,” she would tell me, and I did.

But as I grew, I began to move farther and farther away from my joy, and let life happen to me. I became a wife, began a career and became a mother, now don’t get me wrong, I love being a wife and a mother, that has truly been the greatest accomplishment in my life!!!

But there was a small voice inside of me crying out, wanting to be heard. I felt a longing to break free of daily structure, a need to do something more, so with the encouragement of my husband and my now adult children I began to listen to my heart and search for my joy.

I started to fill my days with creating, it didn’t matter what I was creating as long as I was creating. I found I had a great passion for gardening, cooking, sewing, painting, metal smiting and learning.

I couldn’t get enough creative learning, and then, to my amazement, all that creative learning began to spill out of me as well.

I started to teach, to share all my passion and joy with others. I wanted to enlighten the lives of others, and to help them along the path towards their own truth and joy!

I promise, if you find the time to follow your truth, you will not be disappointed. You just might find a new passion for life that you never knew was waiting for you.
